Second Phase for Four Seasons Hotel

Bahrain Bay has awarded the contract for the Four Seasons Hotel to the Belgian-based construction company SiX Construct. The contract signals the beginning of phase two of the project, which includes the podium and tower construction.

Bahrain Bay is located in the north east of Manama, Bahrain’s capital and largest city. The 201 meters tall hotel complex is set to bolster Bahrain’s hospitality credentials, and to set a new standard in luxury accommodation.

The Four season hotel will be the latest in the five star chain’s portfolio of international properties.
With its 201 metres, the 50-storey hotel complex will have 263 guest rooms, five star spa and leisure facilities, a suspended Sky Pod restaurant, first-class banqueting and conferencing capabilities, four fine dining outlets and panaromic views from the guestrooms and suites, overlooking Bahrain Bay.

The hotel will occupy the central island of Bahrain Bay, where guests will have 360 degree views of the community and the Manama skyline. The Four Seasons hotel aims with its striking design to be an iconic landmark for the Kingdom as well as to set new standards in comfort, luxury and style.

The project implementation will be co-ordinated by the Bahrain Bay management team, and the hotel’s construction will exhibit leading-edge contemporary design.
Phase One – the enabling works – of the project was completed in summer 2011 and enables SiX Construct to immediately start working on concrete slab construction.
